The only thing better than one epic quilt is a second one! Check out this version of my AMH hex quilt for an explosion of bold prints and marvelous texture.
I was asked to make another Caravan Tote. Its quickly becoming my favorite bag pattern. This bag is completely functional and has a bajillion possibilities for fabric combinations and placement. This one features two main prints- Byrne C from DuckaDilly and Sparkle Canvas from Jones and Vandermeer. Liberty always has such clear charm and exquisite details,...
I was recently asked to make a unisex quilt for a not-yet-born baby. I was excited by the challenge to go gender neutral yet stay within my vibrant style. I don’t think the person who commissioned the quilt was concerned with the style as much as they were with gender neutrality, but it was important...
If you are active on Instagram, chances are you’ve witnessed the mini quilt swap craze that’s going on. “Craze” is really putting the whole thing lightly. Hi Olivia, Do you have any tips on using fusible interfacing on Liberty with your bags? I bought some Liberty for the first time recently whilst on holiday in the UK – just love the Liberty store! Today I tried it for the first time on some coasters and noticed that the fusible dotty bits showed through the cream background on the fabric. Now I’m terrified of wrecking some of this gorgeous fabric when making a bag. Maybe it will be OK if the background is a darker colour – any hints?

I like to use Pellon Shape Flex 101- its a woven fusible interfacing rather than a webbing, and it does not have that problem. Its also more stable and natural to work with.
that is a gorgeous bag! love how you put all of the different prints together and the sewing is impeccable!!!
How can I buy this caravan tote??
This one actually sold already, but I would be happy to make you one!
