Today I’m showing you teaser pictures of a super secret project I’m working on. All I can tell you is its yet another homage to Anna Maria. -Meredith
A few weeks ago, Layla asked me if I would make a quilt so we could go on picnics. That seemed like a perfectly reasonable excuse to stock up on Anna Maria’s Field Study linen, which I did, because, hey, why not? After seeing KelbySews quilt, I was inspired to go with a simple patchwork...
Looks like I’m the first stop on the Alison Glass blog tour! I’m feeling pretty special. Really, though, I’m so excited you have stopped by because I cannot wait to show off Alison’s latest fabric!!! Alison is an incredible woman! Seriously. She is so passionate about her work, and such a sweet person. I could...
I love your skirt! It’s great to showcase a lovely fabric like that with a simple pattern, and I’m sure you’ll get so much wear out it too. If I won the fabric I’d also make a simple skirt, I think one with shirring though to accomodate my ever expanding baby bump! Thanks for the give-away.ReplyCancel
I am new to quilting and am trying to build up my stash. A very generous prize such as this would help me out a great deal in giving me some color and quality in my quilting. I would also have to use some of it to make one of those darling skirts for my daughter, as she fell in love with it when she saw it! Thank you for running this contest!ReplyCancel
I’m so glad you are on this tour so I could find your blog. I just love your daughter’s bedroom makeover and will follow along to see what else you have cooking! These prints are divine…with 2 yds I could make a Staple dress (possibly for my daughter), or a Roman blind for my sewing room window that is letting too much sunlight in (I’m worried about fading my stash). Great job on your skirt!ReplyCancel
I have been wanting to make this bag for months! I’ve checked the Janome + Anna Maria site almost daily waiting for its debut. Last week, when Pierette announced that the pattern was up, I dropped all plans, and focused entirely on the Right Turn Bag. It was such fun to pull fabrics and ribbons for...
My “Layla” embroidery collection has grown by one letter, the “Y”. This was such a fun letter to do! I love the flowers and seed stitching best. But to be totally honest, I’m not sold yet. The “a” is the best looking letter thus far, so I’m hoping the last two letters will tie it...
