I just love all things Anna Maria Horner and I relish any chance I get to sew with her fabrics. She’s been my favorite since early 2010 when I discovered her bold and vibrant fabrics. To this day, she is the only artist whose fabric I buy all of. So it should come as no...
Welcome to my stop on the Roam Blog Hop brought to you by the wonderful crew over at Hawthorne Threads. I have been shopping there for years and purchased loads of fabric, so I was tickled when they asked if I would join in on the blog hop. They’ve been designing and printing their own...
A little elf told me I * might* be getting the farmer’s wife quilt book for Christmas and seeing as I live out west, buffalo country ( or not far from) I thought this would be the perfect fabric! Thanks for hosting such a lovely giveaway and as always your work is beautiful- gorgeous tote!ReplyCancel
Your Caravan Tote is just lovely! I have made quite a few and love the pattern as well as most of Anna’s. Have always wanted to try Hawthorne’s fabric line. I have been buying from them for years. I have Anna’s new Makers Tote on my list of bags to try and these fat quarters would be perfect! Happy Holidays to you and yours!ReplyCancel

Oh my goodness, that is just so beautiful and unique and fabulous. You outdid yourself. Gorgeous!
Thank you, Lynne!
The bag is beautiful! Do you have a pattern? Or can you give sizes? This would be a great around town bag.
Hi, Trish! I made it all up as I went just going off of what I know of bag construction. I don’t even remember the sizes I cut. I want to say the unfinished panel for the front was 9×10 but I’m not entirely certain.
I’ve done that before! You’ve given me a starting point & some inspiration. Thank you!
Can you tell me how/when you added the D-rings? TIA
Yes. I attached them with tabs I made with the same fabric I used to make the straps. They were sewn onto the exterior of the bag after the exterior was completed, and before I closed up the lining. :)
