I don’t have pictures for our next step in the Opposites Attract QAL so that post will be up in the next day or two, but I do have a great tutorial for using up some of those HST leftovers! Be sure to cut those carefully, and you’ll have a precut project on your hands...

You drain dishes on it. Not walk on it. I have been making small quilts for years for this purpose. Really dresses up your kitchen.
What a great idea! I hadn’t thought of making one to use as a drying mat.
They really hold up well! I keep Olivia’s water bowl right there, which Wallace tips over once a day. The mat really soaks it up and handles washes very well. :) You need one!
Thank you for this Meredith. I don’t usually quilt but this looks so nice and is not too large or complicated. Seems like a good first “serious” project for me. I’m already looking forward to doing some fabric matching!
