The past few weeks have been spent redoing Layla’s room with a little paint and a whole lot of Anna Maria’s new line, Hand Drawn Garden (the re-release of some prints from her Garden Party and Drawing Room collections). Since I had only done very small things here or there ever, it was more like...
Oh what a beautiful room! I LOVE the wall colors and that bed skirt is amazing!
I love it! The sheets are my favorite part! I tend to go white-white-white for everything, but this jewel-tone room really speaks to the joy and wonder of a little girl her age. And I love how the prints are sophisticated enough to grow with her.
My goodness; how gorgeous! I want to live there, in that little bed. :)
Oh, Olivia. Such a ham. The room looks amazing!
I could easily live in that room. It’s awesome!
I LOVE ALL THE COLORS! What a fun room to have as a little girl!
Meredith…. This turned out so cute! I love how it all came together! Your needlepoint pillow is so gorgeous! Great job girl!
Gorgeous!!! Love it:)
The room looks amazing! The details are beautiful and fun!
First time to your blog and I’m hooked already! This post is fabulous! So much AMH awesomeness. I’m so jealous of that bed and those beautiful drapes! You now have my attention!
Loving this new line! Undoubtedly I would make a quilt with these fabrics, though I think a new clutch would be awesome too!
You have inspired me!!!! Thank you!
Can I come and live it that room! Oh wow! That being said I would love to try out making a skirt for me, a bit like yours (could I go short too??)–As a mum of four, whose littlest is not quite 6 months, I get little time to sew and when I do it is usually for them or for one of my quilting bees. Would be lovely o make something achievable for me!! Thank you!
Looks grrreat! I can’t wait to see it. You are done a terrific job. Bright, cheerful and very southern without being foofy or chintzy. I am sure Layla loves it and I can tell Olivia does.
It looks wonderful! I love how it turned out, and you are sweet to say I helped, although you figured out that wonderful combination truly all on your own! Just lovely!
