I know I told you I would have this post up yesterday, but the weather was super dreary on Wednesday, so getting any good pictures would have been next to impossible. I hope waiting an extra day is worth it! I haven’t been doing much garment sewing lately, and I think that’s because my sewing...
Absolutely adorable, those shirts are just wonderful. Thanks for including a closeup of the first print. From afar it reads almost as a floral ditsy print but it’s actually more of a blocky micro cheater quilt. Your handsome fella is looking awfully sharp in those new shirts!
Thank you so much! It really is a fun print. The boxes in the print take some unexpected twists and turns, and it really keeps your eyes moving over the fabric.
Super cute, both Wallace and the shirts
Thank you!
Oh my Meredith! He looks soo handsome! Love both of those shirts. His eyes are so blue and beautiful. Little heartbreaker in the making xx
Thank you, Lara! I’m head over heels for him for sure!
So cute! I’ve haven’t sewn for babies, but I’ve thought that doing something so detailed as a buttoned shirt on that scale is probably harder than doing a larger version. Very impressive!
Thank you! I don’t know if its harder! I’m wanting to make some shirts for myself, but I thought making a males shirt, even a tiny one, would be good to tackle before attempting a curvier one for a woman. Plus I knew Oliver + S would teach me something valuable, and I do felt I was able to better grasp some techniques.
wwwwwow!!! he is so adorable. i love that photo of him playing peekaboo behind the planter.
and the shirts!!! to die for. LOVE it!
Thank you, Emily!!! You are the sweetest. I’m so glad the Checkmate print worked for the shirt. I knew if you sent the fabric to me early I would have to drop everything and use them! :) I’m so glad you did, though. Can’t wait to see the new prints!
Cuteness overload! Made me smile.
