At the start of the day, I fully expected to have a good, productive day. By 10:30, I knew it was not to be so. I could not believe how long it took to put together packages for my Bee mates, and address them, and then fill out customs forms. That really wasn’t awful except for the cramp I got in my hand. The real zinger was the cost of sending nine fabric filled envelopes all over the world. Ouch.
Thank goodness that was not how the day ended. Nope, I came home determined to clean up to standards the husband would appreciate, and when he let me know he would be staying an addition four hours at work, I had the perfect opportunity to tackle a Swoon block. I love it so much! I’m hoping to make two others over the weekend. I want so badly to show it to you, but because of the card reader issue I’m having, it will have to wait until Monday.
Until then, I will leave you with several pictures (taken by Emilee) of my newest stash addition.
I still need to get a few more prints to complete the line, but I’m more than thrilled to have this much of Laurie Wisbrun’s Modern Whimsy.
I don’t plan on diving right into this bundle, but I know for a fact I’ll be using it at some point in Layla’s childhood, and I know from my Good Folks experience that if I wait, I’ll regret it. So I jumped on getting this fabric while its still available.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
