After making Layla’s Penguin Backpack and the drawstring bag from Little Things to Sew, I just knew I had to try out some of Leisl’s dress patterns.

I ordered the Family Reunion Dress and the Jump Rope Dress along with a few different prints.

I’ll be making Layla two Family Reunion Dresses in an AMH viole from her Innocent Crush line, and this great organic cotton from Michelle Brummer’s new line, Monsterz.

For the Jump Rope Dress, I’ll be using this great gingham in Teal from October Afternoon’s Fly a Kite line.

I just know these dresses will be absolutely precious!

I’m sorry its been so quiet on here the past several days. I had my wisdom teeth removed without sedation, and on top of looking like an overstuffed hamster, I’m really sore from the twenty something shots I had to get in place of the anaestesia. Yuck. I feel pretty terrible and gross, but I had to get on here and let you know what’s going on!
