I want to start off the week telling you all about the upcoming Holiday Craft Bash. I’ve already told you who will be hosting, but just in case you missed it, here they are again:

• Jessica from A Little Gray will be hosting on Mondays (she will be doing a killer series of movie themed projects. Yes, we are all quite jealous of her!)
• Debbie from Esch House Quilts will be hosting on Tuesdays
• I will be hosting on Wednesdays (I’ll be bring you black/white/red projects with an embroidery theme. And did someone say that sounds a lot like a Classy Christmas? Michael Scott?)
• Jacey from Jaceycraft will be hosting on Thursdays (she’ll be using lots of greens and reds!)

Fridays will be set aside to preview projects for the upcoming week and to give you a materials list for each one so you can be prepared when your project of interest comes around.

The Holiday Craft Bash will consist of 6 weeks of project tutorials, so you will have 24 project choices in all. Here is the schedule and project themes for each week in the series:

• (week of) October 15: Stockings
• October 22: Tree Skirts
• October 29: Pillows
• November 5: Toys (or some sort of gift/decor)
• November 12: Wall Art/Door Hangings
• —-Break for week of Thanksgiving—–
• November 26: Table Runner/Placemats

It is our hope that this Holiday series will help you to get a head start on your holiday decorating. So many of us in the sewing community would love to decorate our homes with handmade items, but lack the foresight and planning to get it completed before the holiday rush. Now that you know what to expect from us, we do sincerely hope you will join us in making your home beautiful with the work of your own hands.

Now in addition to creating and crafting, each week you will have the opportunity to win some prizes. As an incentive to join us, we will be giving away a prize every week to those who are participating along with us in our Flickr group. We invite you to post pictures of the projects you are making using our tutorials. A winner from the Flickr group will be chosen at random each week.
