Layla and I made a paper chain 50 days ago so we could count down to Baby’s arrival. Today we’ve reached the 100 day mark! Its sort of surreal. It seems so close, yet so far away. I really don’t have a load to do. Babies don’t require much, especially when they’re fresh, but for some reason I’m also feeling like the time is just soaring by- too quickly? But then I think, “Its only February!” and how I cannot wait to meet him and see what he looks like.
Its all so magical. The whole thing. Actually being pregnant. Carrying my son. Hearing his heart beat. Feeling his rolls, jabs, and pokes. Even the anticipation is so thrilling- knowing that in only 100 days I’ll get to meet the son I have been praying for for almost 3 years. Its finally happening! I’m so in love with him. God is so good!
Thanks for letting me gush my thousand and one emotions on you. I’m so excited to share this journey with you, my supportive readers. I’m having a growth ultrasound on Monday, so I’ll be sure to share a picture! I so hope we can get a good one this time.
And since we’re on the subject of Baby, I’ll be sharing some projects I’ve made for him at the beginning of the week. I’ve officially started making for him, so expect to see plenty of things!
