Turnovers: Taste the Rainbow

Well this is what I have been up to today, business-wise anyway. Most of my day has really been spent cleaning, but this was the fun-ish part. These are from Moda’s Dottie line, and I think they look just scrumptious cut into triangles. Don’t they look like little fabric turnovers?

Maybe I’m the only one who thinks that. Hopefully we will all agree that the colors are wonderful. These triangles that used to be squares will be joined with different triangles to form squares again. Half square triangles- and is it just me, or is this style of quilt very popular right now? There are close to 600 of these little turnovers, and I can’t wait to show you the quilt top. I’ll start sewing sometime tonight or tomorrow, and then I will give you an update.

How did you spend your day?
