Today, just like the past couple of days, will be spent sitting down in different places around my house- whatever is comfortable at the moment- hand quilting. I’m getting better at making nice even stitches every time I quilt around one of those chains. And you know what else? I’m enjoying it immensely. I don’t care that this is taking forever. I just feel like I’m pouring every bit of my heart into this quilt and I love that I can’t do it quickly and just get it over with. The Genevieve quilt is very special to me, so I’m going to every effort to show it.

I’ve now completed several chains- there are twenty-five in all. I hope to be finished by the end of the week and have the pattern available at that time too up in the shop
