Today, just like the past couple of days, will be spent sitting down in different places around my house- whatever is comfortable at the moment- hand quilting. I’m getting better at making nice even stitches every time I quilt around one of those chains. And you know what else? I’m enjoying it immensely. I don’t care that this is taking forever. I just feel like I’m pouring every bit of my heart into this quilt and I love that I can’t do it quickly and just get it over with. The Genevieve quilt is very special to me, so I’m going to every effort to show it.

I’ve now completed several chains- there are twenty-five in all. I hope to be finished by the end of the week and have the pattern available at that time too up in the shop. Wish me luck!

I’ll give you an update on my progress a little later when I’ve done enough to report.
