I do love getting packages in the mail. I know I’ve mentioned it time and again, but it really does rock. Today I got two packages from Hawthorne Threads (my most favorite fabric shop).
The first contained a beautiful spectrum of Pastry Line voiles from Anna Maria’s Little Folks line along with the three Square Dance prints I didn’t yet have.
The second package was packed with Echo. I ordered everything they had left of the indigo Miora print, and one yard each of the other three prints. I love this line, and I really don’t think it was out long enough before it went out of print. I do hope Windham will consider doing a reprint of the line in the future.
I don’t yet have plans for the fabric I ordered, but I do know for sure I will use it. I’ve learned my lesson that when I find a fabric I like I better go ahead and get it or it might not be there when I finally get around to it at a later date (ie you snooze, you lose).
I’m so excited to show you my Spinning Stars Quilt, but I don’t think the big reveal will come until Thursday or Friday when I can get Emilee to take pictures for me. I won’t leave you hanging until then, however. I do plan on showing you a dress, some needlepoint, and my newest quilting project this week.

Aha! You must be the reason that Echo disappeared from my cart while my back was turned toward finding something green! I hope you enjoy it. My green is awesome!
