I’ve finally found the motivation to raid my scrap basket! It was sooo liberating. I don’t have a ton of scraps, and most of the ones I have are tiny, so I pulled out some of the largest ones I had. I started with this:
And ended up with this:
One of the last projects for Curves Class is the Wheel Quilt. I chose to make mine a scrappy color wheel. I used some serious improve and every single piece of the wedges is made from scraps, and the background will be yardage. I’m so happy to have found a use for these extra pieces. I was shocked I had such a variety of colors!
I’m so excited to get a background and backing for this quilt! I really think its one of the most awesome projects I’ve done. If you are seriously interested in learning how to sew with curves or just love some of the projects I’ve been posting about over the past month, you can sign up here to be notified of when registration will open for the next class.
I’ve got to get back to sewing now!

Oh my gosh, it’s gorgeous! Honestly, I like it better than mine. Such a pretty array of colors and so gentle. Love them in rainbow order. Wow!
