Reflections…

I was just thinking it would be cool if I had a picture of a reflection of some sort. But I don’t.

So much happened in 2010.

  1. I had my first child. I watched her blossom into a beautiful baby girl loaded with personality.
  2. I quit my day job, and I started a business.
  3. I should also note I got a new full time job.. childraising. see point 1
  4. I learned what it is like to manage a household day in and day out.
  5. I rekindled my love of sewing.
  6. We got a home.
  7. I became much closer with the people that mean the most to me. I gained a few new friends. Real friends.
  8. I took 2 vacations.
  9. I grew up. Alot.
  10. I grew closer to God than I’ve been in a long while.
  11. I learned alot about the mechanics of marriage. ex: that most of the time its better to just keep my mouth shut.
  12. I widened my variety of things I can cook without rendering them unedible.
  13. I bought alot of stuff. Probably too much stuff. Most likely stuff I didn’t need.
  14. I started this blog. (with the help of my sister, I must add)
  15. I learned to take advice(reproof) more willingly. see point 10
  16. I learned that life only gets harder as you get older. But it also helps me to be more thankful for the blessings that wouldn’t have seemed so big had I received them a few years ago.

So much has happened this past year. I have been so blessed. I hope you can look back at your year and realize the blessings you’ve been given. If not, 2011 is here! Make the most of it!

I’ll end with a preview:
