Please tell me you know what I mean…

You know that feeling that you get when you complete a project? Its that one-of-a-kind rush you get when you’ve gone through the whole process of planning a project, in my case a quilt, preparing the fabric, sewing it together, quilting it, and finally, binding it all together. That last part is key- you start the project in your head, you cut out what you need with your scissors or rotary cutter, your machine does the work of piecing- but you finish it all off by your own hands. Just you and the needle and thread. Its one of the best feelings. It’s fulfillment. That sigh of pride in the work of your hands. Accomplishment. If you can’t tell, I’m relishing this for every second I can. Okay, I don’t want to overdo it.

I completed my baby Chocolate Lollipop quilt yesterday, which I don’t have photos of yet. But here is a preview of today’s finished quilt: Ta Da!

Enjoy your weekend!
