I’ve finally cut into my Innocent Crush bundle! I’m so excited to finally be making the Spinning Stars Quilt for our bed. This thing is going to be humongus, at 90″ x 108″. All I can say is, despite all the work and time it will take to cut, piece, and handquilt it, I just know this quilt going to be my favorite project ever (so far). I’ve been planning this quilt for about a year now, and it took me a long time just to get the fabric, as I had to wait for special occasions to get the money, and what with everything else that goes on around here on a daily basis, its taken until today to dive in.

Today I cut out all of the A pieces. That’s right. All 240 of them. Tomorrow I think I’ll get to the B pieces and save the C pieces for Thursday. Hopefully by Friday I’ll be piecing away! Wish me luck!
