Today I made yet another run to my favorite thread shop, The Golden Needle. I needed to get some Perle 5’s to match a custom quilt I’m working on. I need to finish all the quilting today, so I can bind it tomorrow and mail it on Wednesday. Then I’ll be spending the remainder of my week finishing up the handquilting on the Love quilt.

Needless to say, come next week, my machine and I will be spending some quality time together. I’m thinking it’s about time to make myself some pillows to match my Spinning Stars Quilt. I may also be in need of a coordinating bed skirt.

I’ve gotta get back at it if I’m going to meet today’s goals. I’m going to be stitching away on the ride to the airport to pick up my youngest sister.
