Off Kilter Quilt in LOU LOU THI

I’ve finished up my Off Kilter quilt top in Anna Maria’s LOU LOU THI line. I’m thinking I’m going to add a border though. This humongous queen size quilt is absolutely not going to be machine quilted. There is no way I could survive wrangling a quilt of this size under my machine for who knows how many hours. So I’m going to be curled up on my couch for several days (or so) handquilting this baby.

I’m absolutely in love with the colors and can’t wait to order more fabric from this line. There are several great large scale prints from Lou lou thi, so I know I will have a difficult time choosing backing and the border. I will most likely have such a hard time narrowing it down that I’ll have a combination of a few fabrics for the backing.

Anyway, I apologize for being so late in writing this post. To be honest, this quilt top  took a bit longer to piece together than I initially expected.

Stay tuned for handquilting progress!
