Meet Miss Maven

I took a break yesterday from my normal quilting and making goods for the shop. Instead, I spent my day with Style Stitches by Amy Butler, and some yummy Midwest Modern and solid fabric.

This is the Miss Maven bag in the largest size. I made this for a woman in my church who I love very dearly. She needed and overnight bag, and I thought this one would not only serve the function she needs, but isn’t it so dang cute?

My version is far perfect. I’m so terrible with those very curved edges, but I did do my best. And isn’t it the thought that counts?

Stay tuned for a finished quilt and a trip to the drawing board.

Enjoy your Wednesday!
