This time right now is my very favorite time of year. I love Thanksgiving and Christmas and when the weather is just perfect like this. And apparently now is my always-inspired-to-do-something time as well because I have a load of projects on my to-do list that need to be done before Christmas. And some for after Christmas. I’m painting this room now (my office/studio) a light grey. It desperately needed a change from the rotting pepto bismal pink and rosy trim wallpaper. Plus I feel like I can be more inspired and creative in a not ugly room. Following this?

My other projects are birthday and Christmas presents. I’m hoping to do all handmade with my female relatives. Men are a little more difficult to do the handmade thing with.

Additional projects include an entirely new bedroom for me, including a queen sized quilt (handquilted, obviously), another queen size quilt that you will be hearing lots about, and a brand new quilt for my sweet little Munchkin. I’m hoping to convince her that the quilt I’m making is good enough for her to give up the one her great grandparents got her from Walmart. Truly, I put all this time and efforts into quilts for her, and she prefers the one made in China? Sigh. When she is older I will make sure she understands quality.

I think that’s about all. I summed it up so much that it doesn’t sound like alot. And yet it is.
