In the midst of cleaning the kitchen, doing laundry, satisfying my 10 month old, making my way through as many Psych reruns as possible, and trying to keep everything else under control, I have finally managed to complete this first floor pillow. And you know what? I love it! It turned out really nice, though stuffing it proved to be a two man job (three if you could that my husbands best friend had to keep Layla contained..ie keep her from eating the polystyrene beads). But we got it done. Its a great size, for the smallest person (Layla) all the way up to a regular size man (Justin and his friend). So needless to say, I can’t wait to complete the other two.

Olivia Jane loves it too… And please excuse her tongue. Every attempt I made to fix her tongue and lips for the picture failed.

I’m also awaiting some more fabric from this same line. Amy Butler, of course!!! I’m hoping it will arrive Monday. I’m still deciding what I want to do with it, though I can assure you, much of it will be used to debut a new small bag I’m working on for the shop! I will hopefully be giving you a preview soon, but don’t hold your breath. I hate that I just said that, but I can’t work on a short timeline with a baby. Perhaps once I have a few more, I will be able to better juggle everything in my life between family, business, and pleasure as gracefully as Anna Maria Horner. I know that was a little random, but she is an amazing woman. I can’t lie, I totally idolize her!!! How does she do it?
