Halfway to Central Park

A few days ago I showed you my fat quarter pack of Kate Spain’s Central Park line that I picked up from my favorite local quilt shop, Quilts’n’More. I did not hesitate to cute right into these fabrics, as I think the colors are absolutely cheerful and captivating. I normally make a serious effort to place fabrics at random, but I really love the way these colors flow together in rainbow order, so to speak. I’m only halfway done, hence the title of this post, but I hope to show you the finished quilt top by Monday. Then get ready, because I’m gonna be spitting out completed quilts like nobody’s business.

I regret that “spitting” is the word that came to mind.

Anyway, here is part of the Central Park quilt! Sorry for the blur on the left side. The lens was dirty and I didn’t realize it until I was done, and it was really windy so I wasn’t going out for Take 2.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend! And here’s a shoutout to Cynthia and Trent- Congratulations on your marriage!

xo, Mere
