I’ve been working away on hand quilting the Central Park Quilt. I’m about halfway done, and I’m very pleased with how it is turning out. It’s taken a bit longer than I predicted, what with having to rush to the potty with Layla every so often. I bought her a seat that fits on our toilet, but then I thought a small toilet for her would be easier, because I could just stick it in the middle of the living room for her to run to whenever she felt the urge to go. Of course, she is way independent and likes to do things her way, so after using her potty once, she will only go on our toilet without the small potty seat on top. Her personality is…well… I don’t know the word, so her decision to make me work a little harder doesn’t at all come as a shock to me. That’s my girl!
Anyway, I decided to buckle down and get to work on quilting today, so I did something I never do. I made a bowl of popcorn, heated up some caramel dip (to dip the popcorn in, which I don’t think is weird despite the opinions of Justin and Emilee), put Elf in the blu-ray and did some quilting. Oh and I should also say that I did not quilt while eating. I don’t like food or residue on my quilts, so I quilted then ate. Just wanted to clarify that for you.
Thanks to Emilee for the picture!
Enjoy your weekend!
