Well I finished the Genevieve Pattern. Emilee is probably thrilled that it is done. (I’ve had her on Photoshop all day, helping me with the diagrams.) When I asked her if she wanted to come over for a movie before Justin came home from work, she said, no, that she’d seen enough of me for one day.  That is pretty bad considering we are sisters/BFFs.

I’ve concluded that much more goes into the making of a pattern than one might think. It took many hours, lots of drawing, writing and critiquing to get this pattern ready for you. I hope you enjoy it, and for those of you who do purchase it, please post pictures to my Flickr group. I’d love to know how it worked for you!

Included in the pattern are detailed instructions, complete with diagrams to illustrate the steps. Also, several illustrations are given to help guide you in your arrangement of the quilt- I have given you a variety, but this should also encourage your own creativity, should you choose a different arrangement. I’ve also included instructions for alternative fabric choices.
