Today I’m working on stitching the center circles onto my dresden plates. I found it somewhat difficult to center the circle, so I ended up doing this one twice. Ah well, atleast now I know how to do it the correct way!
If you are wondering how I made my circles, I followed Anna Maria’s foolproof tutorial using a cardboard template, aluminum foil, and fabric. I love this method because it does not require cutting out perfect circles, but once they have been formed they are just how they should be.
I hope this post finds you having a wonderful day.

I’ve used that method (Anna’s) before as well. It’s so nice to see that perfect circle form! If only it didn’t use up so much foil. Still, a good way to go!
This really is a great method. I used only one piece of foil. It actually went smoother and smoother with each circle I made because the foil had already conformed to the circular shape making it easier for the fabric to follow suit.
