This is what happens to your handmade diaper bag when your 18 month old pulls your liquid foundation out, and spills the ENTIRE bottle:

 I was just washing dishes, knowing she was going through the bag, but I was thinking, “That’s just fine. She’s exploring and there’s nothing in there she can’t play with.” Except… AGH!

So I ran into the living room, freaking out in my head, and saw my makeup bottle in her hand, the cap on the ground, and liquid makeup filling the inside and running down the outside of the diaper bag. I just calmly collected the makeup and thought, “This is okay. I’ve gotten plenty of use out of this bag. Atleast it’s not on the carpet.” I didn’t yell. I didn’t scream. I just realized that I should have removed the makeup when I got home. And liquid makeup DOES NOT come out. No matter what you do, it’s there and it’s not going anywhere. Oh well. Its best just to realize that whatever the stained article is, it is just a material thing and it is replaceable. I did get this cute bag at Target. Atleast it looks more like a woman’s bag and less like a diaper bag.
