Yesterday we went back to Busch Gardens in Tampa. We’re trying to go as many times as possible to get the per trip cost down to very little on our annual passes. This time Layla got to see the lions and hyenas, which we missed last time. Also a highlight from yesterday’s trip, we were able to see the cheetah cub and Lab puppy which are being raised together. They are ADORABLE! It was definitely a fun trip, and I highly recommend Busch Gardens to anyone- its wonderful for thrill seekers and people with young children alike. There is certainly something for everyone.
Just like my lack of activity on the blog this week, I’ve done very little business-wise as well. I’m at a little bit of a standstill for the moment, and just waiting for a spike in sales. (Which by the way, now through Memorial day you can enjoy free shipping on all domestic orders! Use code MEMORIAL at checkout). However, once the fabric arrives from Hawthorne Threads (a new favorite of mine) I will be embarking on this little adventure.
My mom has a Just What You Need wristlet, but she would really like a bag that’s a little more substantial. Who better to consult than Amy Butler? So I will be making her the Teardrop Bag from her book Style Stitches, which should be a wonderful size to fit everything my mom needs, even that iPhone of hers….
I’ll keep you posted on this project! Remember free shipping now through Monday in the shop! Use code MEMORIAL at checkout!
I hope this post finds you enjoying your Thursday afternoon. Now its back to The Office for me.
xo, Meredith
