These are a few of my favorite things!

I love getting packages! It is like Christmas. I’ve gotten several in that past few days, which I’m so excited about.

First, I received my bundle of Little Folks fabric from Mountain of the Dragon on Etsy. I ordered it on Friday, and it was here in Fl (from California!) on Monday. Can you believe how fast it got here? Anyway, I’m thrilled to death about this bundle, but I’ll go on about it more in a later post.

Second, I received this month’s Bee Connected fabric. This, like last month, came all the way from Australia, and I can’t wait to get started. She wants log cabin style quilt-as-you-go blocks. I’ve never done quilt-as-you-go blocks, but I’m thrilled to give it a try.

Next, I received a box from Zappos with two pairs of shoes for Layla Grace. One is a pair of Puma tennis shoes, which are the cutest little things I’ve ever seen. And the second is a pair of white shoes that she can wear with day dresses or at church on Sundays. I’m finding it is super difficult to find good shoes for a toddler. Its probably just the area I live in, but I had to spend alot more to shop online to get Layla good shoes than I would have had to do had we had a good toddler shoe outlet in the area. But I am pleased with the shoes, despite having to pay a bit more.

I was supposed to get my Housecat Shades from Anthropologie today as well, but those have yet to arrive. I’ve got my fingers crossed that they’ll be here tomorrow. The sunglasses are the ones I obsessed over in this Wrap Up.

Well I know this post isn’t as exciting for you as it is for me, but I’m about to bubble over with excitement so I felt the need to share it with you. I have been doing real work, hand stitching away on several bags for my Stitched line, which I hope to unveil soon. But that is the beauty of this line, it takes time because of all the care that goes into the stitching.

One more thing, I would regret if I didn’t proudly tell you this: Layla peed on the potty today! Woot! I haven’t even started potty training yet per se, but she’s a smarty pants! I won’t lie. I cried. Okay, that’s it.
