A title with a dramatic flair….

Yet that is kind of how I feel now that my month in Bee Connected has finally rolled around after a year of waiting. I’ve spent many, many hours since last night cutting out fabric for everyone. The concensus of the group was that I should cut out the fabric instead of having them do it. So I gave myself a pep talk and just did it.

Now all I have left to cut is the Kona Snow that will serve as the background to the Swoon blocks I’m having everyone make.

As you can see, I’m using up my precious Echo. I do hope all the blocks turn out well because this is all I have of the line. I am so thrilled to have this quilt, though. I’ve wanted to make a Swoon quilt for ages and ages and with the help of my group, I’ll be able to have one before I know it!

I have some small scraps left over that I plan to use to make a pillow or two to match the quilt.

I also have some gorgeous selvedges to add to my quickly growing selvedge jar.

I’m so excited to send out all this fabric! I can’t wait to see all the blocks!

Do have a wonderful, and productive day. I have to go clean house for a showing tomorrow (I hate doing that).
