Here’s my second block for this month’s Bee.

I think it turned out good, and it took far less time the second time around.

Also, here’s a look at what I ordered from JAQS. I got this little FQ bundle containing 12 random fat quarters for only $15. I do not like all of the fabrics in this bundle. Some are plain ugly. But, I the ones that I do like make up for the ugly ones. I’m definitely happy with the purchase.

 One other thing. I keep seeing knitted items that I really like. A year ago, even a month ago, I would have told you I have no interest whatsoever in learning to knit. Well, I’m eating those words because I’ve managed to find a ton of knitted stuff that is not grandma knitting with thick ugly yarn. So my question for you is, what book(s) would you recommend for me to learn how to knit? Keep in mind I’ve never knitted a stitch before, which is probably obvious because I’m entirely clueless of knitting terminology. I’m a go-getter for sure, so give me some suggestions that might not be easy, but something I can learn from and then dive right into knitting awesome expensive looking stuff for myself.
