As promised, a finished quilt

Drumroll please…dum dum dum da-dum

This Cubed Zig-Zags quilt was made using fabric from Amy Butler’s Daisy Chain line, and the backing is from her Solids line. I made the top using my own half square triangle pattern. The quilting was done to accentuate the pattern and to add interest to the plain back- I used a series of 1/4″ and 1/2″ lines.

I’m in love with the back. I think I accomplished just what I set out to to.

The Cubed Zig-Zags Quilt measures 39.5″ x 47″ making it a generous size that is perfect for a number of uses including: a picnic blanket, playmat, lap blanket, toddler bedspread, or just a snuggling blanket for your little one to curl up in or drag around.

You can find the listing in here in my Etsy shop. Roam around a keep a look out for more wristlets and clutches that should be available for Mother’s Day. And speaking of Mother’s Day, use code MOTHERSDAY at checkout now through May 8, 2011 to receive free shipping on all domestic orders!

Enjoy your Tuesday!
