Well today is my mom’s birthday, which we’ve had the privilege of spending with her. Its also the last day of our trip. That means we’re getting back into the swing of things. On the one hand that will be just fine. It means privacy and getting to rebond with my sewing machine. On the other hand it will mean getting back to normalcy, meaning I will not have four extra babysitters on call at all moments of the day. But that’s okay, I love spending time with my baby, even if it does mean the time of every project gets extended by like double.
I’ll be finishing the large quilt with zig zags using Anna Maria’s Chocolate Lollipop. You will also be seeing a preview of some diaper bags I’ll be working on for the shop. I’m thrilled about the prints I’ll be using, and I hope you love them!! I know I’ll have that feeling, “Do I actually want to cut into this beautiful fabric?” while I’m thinking, “Oh my gosh, I cannot wait to cut into this and see the bag.” AGH!
Well I hope you are as excited as I am. Have a great rest of your weekend!
