I’m so happy it’s Monday. To tell you the truth, I’ve had so many distractions this weekend. I’m trying to organize a Christmas Project Bash for you all, which I had to finalize plans for this weekend. I’m so excited about it, and the bloggers who will be partnering with me are wonderful! I’m so thrilled with what we have in store for you!
Also, I’m in that wierd in-between-projects place where I’m not quite ready to tackle a huge project, but huge projects are pretty much all that are on my 2012 list. I sought to appease this feeling this afternoon when I made these pillowcases. Warning: The pictures are just awful.
I love them! The main body is a Free Spirit Solid voile, and the trim and side panel are both Innocent Crush prints. Now that I have too much maroon at the head of the bed, I’ll be adding a few more printy pillows with my leftover Innocent Crush fabric. I’m really excited about that. I’m obsessed with the line, and even when this quilt gets swapped out with another, I know I’ll put those pillows to use somewhere, even if I have to have a pillow filled couch. I just want to look at the fabric, you know? Yes. I am a little bit crazy.
Today was also a great relief to me in that I got to hand over the massage ball cases. I finished the last of them earlier today. There are 28 in all, 25 feminine ones and 3 masculine ones. I think they’re pretty cute. Emilee still thinks they look like boobs. I’m just hoping they do well at the spa- and I’m told they are in high demand, so I think they’ll do just fine. I got a little camera happy, so there are a few pictures here.
I’m not sure what tomorrow will hold for me craftwise, but even if I can’t find a reason to be at my machine, I’ll most certainly be making progress on my needlepoint. I do love that needlepoint.
Have a wonderful evening!
