Today I started working on one of my Bee blocks for July. These are going all the way to Australia! This month’s assignment was very new to me because it involved paper piecing. I was quite intimidated to begin with, but I got the hang of it and whipped up four of the paper pieced blocks to form one “x” block. Tomorrow’s project is the orange block. I was thinking this was going to be very grim, but once I got the hang of it, I finished the block fairly quickly.

Anyway, here’s the first one:

I’m also diving into another project which is in somewhat different territory. That’s all you get to know for now, though. I hope to give you a decent update tomorrow.
