I’m finally sewing for Baby! Its hard for me not to have him on my brain constantly these days now that he’s almost constantly kicking or dancing or poking in my belly. While boy sewing doesn’t seem to hold nearly the variety of girl sewing, nor does most of it seem as exciting, I’ve known […]

  • So so cute. I’ve made these as gifts and everyone loves them : )ReplyCancel

  • Super cute! I think it’s really hard to find boys’ prints. Even when there’s a novelty print with a boy theme, it doesn’t work too much past age 1 (at least for pants, a little longer for shirts). But solids get boring! Made by rae’s newborn pants are an awesome 20 minute sew and super cute too.ReplyCancel

So cute, how did you like the pattern? I’ve had my eye on these as wellReplyCancel

I recently finished up making my first ever Messenger Bag from Liesl Gibson’s book “Little Things to Sew”. This is beautiful! I’m planning to make these for my nieces and daughter for Christmas. How!do you feel about the size? I keep going back and forth and think the smaller size might be easier to tote around and feel more like a purse. What are your thoughts on the size?ReplyCancel

    • I really love this size. It’s not like a purse, so if that’s what you are going for definitely go smaller. I like this one because it’s perfect for holding her coloring books. :) ReplyCancel

Sarah Jane is a design genius. I cannot wait to see these cute prints turned into dresses and a messenger bag !ReplyCancel

I love Liberty of London. I love Alexia Abegg’s Michelle, My Belle dress too! I think that’s why after making one with Liberty, its difficult for me to think of combining the pattern with another fabric. This time I used a favorite print that may be more suited for Spring, but this is Southwest Florida, […]

I have been jumping up and down since Tuesday when I received my copy of QuiltEssential that I had preordered on Amazon. About a year ago, I was approached about using some of my quilt pictures for the book. I was pleasantly surprised ridiculously excited once I saw some of my quilts! Over the moon […]

Congrats!!! I’ve yet to sew a quilt because I feel so intimidated by the whole process – perhaps this is the book to change my mind!ReplyCancel
