Getting a head start on Christmas. It’s 85 degrees.

I’m starting early on Christmas projects. Why? Well its certainly not because it feels like Christmas. Its so insanely hot and humid here right now.

Actually, I’m head starting it because I’m part of an upcoming Christmas project bash for bloggers. Fellow bloggers include Jessica from A Little Gray, Jacey from Jaceycraft, and Debbie from Esch House Quilts. I can’t give you details today, but I promise to reveal them soon. I can tell you you won’t want to miss it!

Anyway, I just got my fabric from Hawthorne Threads (I swear I could live in that warehouse and be happy forever if they would adopt me). All of it will be used for Christmas projects except for the chambray.

This gorgeous Kaufman chambray is going to become an autumn dress for Layla. Methinks it will need to be accompanied by some Liberty. Just saying.

I’m going to be out of town this coming week. I’m not sure if I’ll be blogging, but I do promise to be back to my regular schedule on the following Monday!

Have a great weekend!

Mere
