I’ve loaded up some crayon rolls to the shop. A few have already sold, but I’ll be making more. Some details: they hold (and come with) ten crayons, they feature a flap to keep crayons in and an elastic strap to keep it rolled up, and they are perfect for Easter baskets or party favors. […]

  • Looking forward to seeing what you do with this one! It’s lovely. Do you know what fabric you want to use to cover it?ReplyCancel

    • I was really trying to find a chair for my bedroom that I was going to cover in Innocent Crush (not sure which print), but this looks like it has been recently reupholstered, so while I try to work up the courage to redo this one, I should have plenty of time to decide on the fabric. All those tufts make me nervous.ReplyCancel

      • Hi – That sofa that you like on my site had tufts, but when I recovered it I chose to just get rid of the tufts. This is 1 – much easier and 2 – sometimes with a really cool print it kind of looks weird to make it all wonky with all of the folds, etc. You would need new foam to get rid of the tufts, but most of the time a sofa like this needs new foam anyway. Just a little thought! I personally would not want to do the tufts! Tricky. Also, AMH’s look really cool without the tufts too!ReplyCancel

        • I hadn’t thought of not including the tufts when I do recover this beauty. So much of the personality of this sofa comes from the tufts, but I suppose using an exciting fabric with a dramatic print would actually transform this couch into something so much more. I’m going to have to think about this one. I’m sure I will be emailing you for plenty of advice when the time comes! Thanks for the suggestions!ReplyCancel

I’ve been thinking alot about 2011 and my goals for this new year both for me personally and for my business. I planned to write this out last night, but I went antiquing with my mom all day yesterday and I was just too exhausted to think through a whole year and write about it […]
